June 3, 2017 –  The 6th Annual North Fork Waiter Race hosted by The Market.  Waiters and spectators welcome.  Entrants will balance a beverage-filled stemmed wine glass on a serving tray and race to the finish line without spilling the beverage.  Race begins promptly at 10 am.  Meet on Main Street at the Opportunity Shop.  Entry fee:  $50.  Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. May 16 , 23, 30, June 6, 13, 20 & 27, 2017 – “Stepping On” Program – Sign up for a free seven-week series designed to build confidence and reduce falls. Target audience:  Seniors.  This 2 hour program is offered on consecutive Tuesdays by Karolyn Jenkins, ELIH Physical Therapist from 10 am – 12 noon at the Southold Free Library, 53705 Main Road, Southold.  A refresher class will be offered eight weeks after the last session on August 22nd.  Class limited to 20 participants.
