Corner Gift Shop ~ Hospital Lobby
This newly remodeled gift shop is located in the main hospital lobby and is open, Monday - Friday 9 am - 4 pm. The shop carries a full selection of gift items like; jewelry, books, cards, plants and candy to cheer hospital patients, staff and visitors. Proceeds benefit patient care.
Opportunity Shop ~ Thrift Shop
Eastern Long Island Hospital Thrift Shop - Greenport, Long Island
The hospital's Thrift Shop is a favorite with locals and visitors alike, for finding great bargains on gently used clothing (even designer brands), household items, furniture, books and gifts.
LOCATION: The Opportunity Thrift Shop is located within Greenport Village at 321 Main Street, on the north side of the public parking lot behind the former Arcade store.
HOURS: Open Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am - 3:00
DONATIONS: Donations are gladly accepted on open days before 2:00 pm.
The thrift shop does not accept; Computers, Fax Machines, Mattresses, Car Seats, Encyclopedias, Textbooks and - obviously - soiled, damaged, or excessively worn clothing items. Thank you for complying with our policies.
We are in need of volunteers on Tuesday - Saturday.
Full day (5 hours) or half day shifts are available for your scheduling convenience.
If you have time to spare, we can really use you. Join the ELIH Volunteer Family for some stimulating and fun work at our Opportunity Thrift Shop. Auxiliary Fundraising Raffles
Eastern Long Island Hospital's Auxiliary hold two (2) raffles per year to raise funds for patient care at the hospital.
Fundraising Online Auctions
ELIH also uses the world wide web to raise funds for your local community hospital patient's care. Donated assets such as original artwork, jewelry, silver and fine china are auctioned online to benefit Eastern Long Island Hospital.
