Accomplishments and Acquisitions

Following services and/or programs have been expanded through Second Century Campaign funding:

• MRI - Magnetic Resonance Imaging - relocation and acquisition
  of 1.5 tesla MRI $ 2,000,000.
   
• Digital Mammography - $ 475,000 

Future Funding Initiatives

• General Surgery - Laparoscopic Surgical System
   
• Urology Services - Acquisition of specialized urological instrumentation such as Urological Optic scopes and Green Light laser.
   
• Instrument Reprocessing System - Faster turnaround of sterile instruments and increased volume.
• Vascular Surgery Equipment and Instruments which introduces new Vascular Surgery capabilities to ELIH.
   
• Endoscopy Reprocessing System - increased volume and expanded Colonoscopy services substantially .
   
• Anesthesia Module- allows simultaneous use of operating suites for greater efficiency.
   
• Operating Room Enhancements - to accommodate more complex surgical procedures and increase the breath of surgeries that can be performed. 
    
• EKG Equipment - two (2)
   
• Patient Controlled Anesthesia (PCA) pumps - ten (10) which promotes rapid healing, patient comfort and is monitored for correct dosages.
