  • Medication Assisted Treatment including Suboxone, Naltrexone, and Vivitrol

Addiction Services

Eastern Long Island Hospital Quannacut Addiction Services, are fully accredited hospital-based detoxification and rehabilitation programs licensed by the NY State Department of Health and the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and The Joint Commission. All inpatient services are provided at Eastern Long Island Hospital 201 Manor Place, Greenport, NY 11944.   • Acute care detoxification program, providing comprehensive medical and psychosocial treatment.
  • Evaluations available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week through the Eastern Long Island Hospital Emergency Department

Inpatient Addiction Rehabilitation - 631.477.8877

  • A comprehensive rehabilitation program, providing individualized treatment for all substance use disorders, and specializing in the treatment of those with dual diagnoses
  • Intake evaluations completed Monday-Friday, 7:00am-7:00pm

The expert, dedicated professionals from Medicine, Nursing, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselors and Dieticians bring a team approach to patient care. ELIH Addiction Rehabilitation Services provide a nurturing environment allowing patients to stabilize, develop insights into the disease process, and transition back into the community. Addiction treatment, whether individualized or in a group, is tailored to the unique needs of each patient. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the addiction, the complexity of symptoms and other personal variables.

Psychiatry

  • Psychiatry Unit Visiting Hours: 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm  and 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
  • Acute psychiatric services for adult inpatient care in a safe, nurturing therapeutic environment, certified by the New York State Department of Health, the New York State Office for Mental Health (OMH) and The Joint Commission.
  • Treatment is provided by an interdisciplinary team of psychiatric nurses, clinical social workers, recreation therapists and board certified psychiatrists affiliated with Stony Brook University Hospital. Assessment for admission is sometimes initiated as a transfer or directly by mental health practitioners.
